How do you differ from other dance schools?

Dance Depot 5offers the most unique dance styles south of Atlanta for ages 3 to 100! Some classes, such as the fusion classes, have been invented by the Director. Dance Depot has an innovative early childhood program, small classes, 2 free recital tickets, professional Instructors, floating oak floors, socials, performance opportunities,and many outreach programs. There are no limits to what we do here.

How do I register?

You may visit the studio Monday through Thursday 4pm-7pm. We ask that you come in for complete customer service. Remember to register early to get the classes you want.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Absolutely not. In order to discontinue classes, you must come inside and complete our withdrawal form 30 days notice from the first of the month.

Can I try a class?

Yes. First class only $5. If you register the same day, your $5 will be credited towards your monthly fee.

Can I drop in?

We allow $15 single class drop ins only for the adult classes for those busy working individuals. See fees page. Drop ins are not allowed for our childrens program which runs with the school sytem. The children's program is an annual program where students are rewarded a the end of the year performance for their annual commitment.

Do you have monthly memberships?

Yes, all adult classes run on our membership program. We also have family memberships where your entire family can take unlimited classes each month! Ask front desk for more details.

How do you keep students informed?

Email and handouts are our main forms of communication. It is the student/parent's responsibility to read thoroughly each handout to stay informed of any changes, event info, etc. Please get a studio calendar so you'll know what days we're out for holidays.

How much are private lessons?

Private lessons vary from $65 per person/couple per 1 hour class to $85 per hour if choreography is involved. We also have group private rates which vary depending on location and number of people. The more people in your group, the more cost effective your lessons will be.

Do I have to have a partner for ballroom or salsa?

No partner necessary. We have plenty of men and women in class and the Instructor encourages students to rotate.

How many classes are in a ballroom, salsa, belly, or breakin session?

You will always get 7 to 9 classes each session depending on the annual calendar or how many weeks are in the month.

Do you have performances or recitals?

Yes. We have 2 major recitals in the year and several optional community performances. We showcase students, amateurs, and professional dancers from cities near and far. Our showcases feature various dances from around the world.

Are the Instructors qualified?

Yes, our Instructors have several years of dance training. We have over 22 years shared experience. You can read Instructor bios on the Instructors page.

Do you have competitions?

No. As a performing arts studio our main focus is stage production and dance as an artform and not on competition. At the end of the year, our students get the opportunity to showcase what they've learned all year at the recital. Students are rewarded for their accomplishments. Our focus remains on dance education rather than recital preparation, making Dance Depot the best dance choice.

Do you rent studio space?

Yes, space is available for parties, lessons, castings, workshops, masterclasses, or other events. We have a 1400 sq ft studio with oak floors, 30 ft of mirror, super sound system, and party lights. Please call for rental rates. 770-683-4600
